Therapy is a safe place to share your story, identify challenges, grow, and heal. Together, we’ll look at what brought you here and decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. We’ll explore how your thoughts affect your emotions and behaviors. We will practice pushing back on negative thoughts so common in anxiety, depression and trauma. We will explore mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation to make everyday life less stressful. My goal as a therapist is to activate resilience and strength in my clients, so they can experience change and simply live happier lives.
No matter what you have been through, I will offer you a safe space where you are heard, validated, and supported. I will offer you compassion without judgment. I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and art therapy exercises that support awareness, healing, and growth unique to your journey.
